MacBook Pro 14 (M3, 8GB RAM): $1,599 $1,449 at Amazon
Save $150: Amazon also has $150 off the M3 MacBook Pro 14. This is a new proposal in the lineup since it's the first time a 14-inch MacBook Pro has sported the standard M chip. Some will raise eyebrows at the fact that this base model has only 8GB RAM, but Apple says 8GB on a MacBook is more efficient than 8GB on a Windows laptop.

MacBook Air 15 M2 (2023): $1,299 $1,049 at Amazon
Save $250: The 15-inch MacBook Air M2 (2023) was only released in June, so this record low price is a great deal. We've seen this price before, so there's a chance that it could drop further over the sale, but I wouldn't bet on it. More than $250 off a new Apple laptop in this price range would be unusual.

MacBook Pro 14 (M1 Max, 2021): $4,099 $2,499 at B&H Photo
Save $1,600: This is a massive saving on a high-spec configuration of the 14-inch pro. It's a M1 Max version from late 2021, so it's been superseded by the M2 and M3 Max models now, but this configuration packs a massive 64GB or RAM and 2TB SSD. A similar configuration of the M3 Max 14 would cost you $4,299. It's unusual to see deals on such a high-spec option at a consumer retailer.

MacBook Air 13 M2 (2022): $1,099 $899 at B&H Photo
Save: $200
Overview: The 13-inch MacBook Air M2 (2022) provided a boost in performance and a redesign for what was already an almost perfect compact, lightweight laptop. It has a slightly larger, brighter screen than the 2021 M1 model but actually weighs less. It's also more powerful thanks to the M2 chip. This is the cheapest price on record and is unlikely to be beaten this year.

Apple Black Friday US iPad deals
iPad 10th Gen (10.9-inch, WiFi, 64GB): $449 $349 at Amazon
Save $100: We were confused by this iPad when it was released just over a year ago, but when we tried it out, we found it actually offered a nice step up from the 9th gen model for light creative work. There are often discounts taking it down to around $399 mark, but this Black Friday deal is the best price on record, beating the previous low of $379 during Amazon Prime Day.

iPad (10.2inch, 2021): $329 $229 at Amazon
Save $100: This is another record low price. Last year we saw the 2021 iPad was reduced to $249 in Amazon's Apple Black Friday sale, but this year there's another $20 off. We've never seen an iPad so cheap, and this remains a solid tablet for browsing, entertainment and light work.

iPad Air (5th gen, 2022): $599 $499 at Amazon
Save $100: We consider the latest iPad Air to be best Apple tablet for most people's needs. With Apple's own M1 chip, it's significantly more powerful than the standard iPad, and it's better for drawing since it supports the better Apple Pencil 2. Amazon has been offering this deal on and off since Black Friday last year, but we still haven't seen a price any cheaper than this.

Apple Black Friday US Apple Watch, AirPods and more
Apple Watch Series 9: $399 $324 at Amazon
Save $75: The newest Apple Watch was only released in September and features a new improved screen and a clever new double-tap feature. There's now $75 off, which is more than we usually see discounted from Apple Watches in their first 12 months. I don't expect to see a better Black Friday Apple Watch deal this year.

Apple Watch Ultra 2: $799 $739 at Amazon
Save $60: This is the biggest saving so far on the latest version of Apple's rugged all-terrain GPS + Cellular Watch Ultra. There's also $100 off the original iteration from last year, but I'd say the extra battery life, double tap feature and precision iPhone finding make it worth paying $40 more for the newer model. After all, that's not a big difference when it's a $700 watch.

Save $60: I'm currently wearing this watch, and though it doesn't have all the features of the Series 9 or Ultra 2, I honestly think it does everything I need it to. Fitness tracking, messages, calls – I'm not Bear Grylls so I don't need anything more. And this is an unprecedented price. Boom.

Save $40: We've tested lots of styluses for iPads, but the upshot is that if you want to use an iPad Pro, Air or mini for digital art, there's really no competition for the Apple Pencil 2. The good news is that this is close to the cheapest it's ever been (Amazon very briefly reduced the price a little further to $84.99 in June).

Save $100: This AirPods Max deal is fairly standard during Black Friday now, but Apple's premium over-ear headphones never seem to get any cheaper! All the same, they offer excellent active noise cancellation and superb sound.

Save £149.03: Apple Black Friday deals in the UK tend to be disappointing compared to those in the US, so we're pleased to see almost £150 off the brand new M3 MacBook Pro 14. This discount is on the entry-level model. If you need more power, there's up to £200 of the M3 Pro version with 18GB of RAM and up to 1TB SSD.

Save £90: We recommend the iPad Air as the best iPad for most people, and this is the cheapest price in the UK since a Prime Day deal in 2022 (and that was back before Apple raised the starting price last September). Apple Black Friday: What you need to know
When to Apple Black Friday deals start and end?
Black Friday is on Friday November 24, but most retailers started their Apple Black Friday 2023 discounts at least a week early. The best deals usually end on the Monday after Black Friday, which is known as Cyber Monday. This falls on Monday November 27 this year.
Does Apple do Black Friday deals?
In short: no. While Apple is happy to let third-party retailers discount its gear, you won't find any direct Apple Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals at the Apple Store. Instead, it will be offering Apple Black Friday gift cards that can be redeemed against later purchases.
The maximum Apple Black Friday gift card you can claim is worth $250 / £250, but you'll need to buy one of its more expensive products to qualify for that. Generally, they're not such a great deal considering that we're seeing some direct savings that are worth as much the gift card, but the official Apple Black Friday offer can sometimes work in your favour if you know you're definitely going to want to buy another Apple product down the line.
How to get the best Apple Black Friday deals
Huge Apple Black Friday discounts are usually on older kit, or products released earlier in the year. Apple kit tends to hold its value very well, and though more serious savings have been spotted from time to time, we're not usually talking about massive discounts. But if you want to pay a little bit less than the full retail price for some new Apple gear, then Black Friday's your best opportunity.
To get the best Black Friday Apple deal, decide in advance what hardware you're after and how much you want to spend. For the best deals without having to trawl through retailers, stick with us. We'll be updating this page with direct links to all of the best Apple Black Friday deals for 2023 as and when they go live.
There have already been some record-low prices on the MacBook Pro and Air M2 ranges, but even savings on the new MacBook M3 which was only released this month. this month. We're also seeing some good prices on iPads and solid if predictable savings on AirPods and Apple Watch.
How do I know if a deal is good?
With so many retailers pushing Apple Black Friday deals, it can be hard to pinpoint which are the best discounts, and what really is considered a good deal. You have to be careful during these big retail events and ensure that sellers haven't just hiked up the retail price to make it seem like a discount.
That's where we come in: we use price comparison tools to track price history, and compare the current prices across different retailers. During Black Friday these will fluctuate so we'll be regularly checking and updating. And we will link you directly to savings so you know the offer is the real deal.

How do we choose the deals to include in this guide to Apple Black Friday deals
We've been reviewing Apple products and tracking their prices for over a decade, so we're clued up on which Apple products are worth investing in and how much they cost. To select the deals to include in this round up, we track the prices of Apple gear that we have reviewed and tested, comparing prices across all major retailers in the US and UK. We usually only highlight a deal that represents at least 5 per cent off Apple's own retail price.
