Apparently The Royal Family Is Banned From Playing Monopoly

When the Queen stands, you stand.

No one can eat after the Queen has finished her meal.

Bowing and curtsying is a requirement.

Marriage comes with a new name.

PDA is looked down upon, especially while traveling.

Approval is needed before a proposal.

The Queen picks out a bride's wedding tiara.

A royal wedding bouquet must contain myrtle.

Every royal wedding party must include a crop of children.

Until 2011, the royal family was prohibited from marrying a Roman Catholic.

The family can't have political views.

Nor can they run for office.

Monopoly is a forbidden board game amongst the family.

Dinner conversations are formulated.

When a royal travels abroad, they're required to pack an all-black outfit.

Two heirs aren't allowed to travel together.

The family isn't allowed to sign autographs or take selfies.

The family can't eat shellfish.

You can't touch a royal.

They can't wear fur.

The Queen always wears gloves.

Event seating is very much planned.

In fact, there's an entire office dedicated to the organizing of guests.

The royal family must adhere to a strict dress code.

Even Prince George has a dress code.

Women must wear hats to all formal events.

After 6 p.m., hats are off and tiaras are on.

But, tiaras are reserved for married women.

And tiaras must be angled properly.

The Queen's breakfast menu is nonnegotiable.

The family must accept gifts.

Coats always stay on.

The Queen insists on spending a week preparing for Christmas.

The family doesn't open presents on Christmas Day.

Instead they spend the holiday at church.

Garlic isn't allowed at Buckingham Palace.

Neither are potatoes, rice, and pasta.

The family is expected to learn multiple languages.

A clean-cut, put-together image is key.

You can't turn your back on the Queen.

Or wear wedges in front of her.

Even the children are expected to be graceful.

The Queen's wardrobe must be bright.

Women are expected to sit a certain way.

Natural makeup is preferred.

If the Queen moves her purse to her right arm, her staff must cut off her conversation.

And when she places her purse on a table, dinner is officially over.

Cleavage isn't a part of the royal dress code.

Military uniforms are worn at formal events.

Nicknames are completely forbidden.

Utensil placement is very important.

As is tea-cup holding.

Chin placement isn't overlooked.

Royal women must wear pantyhose.

And carry a purse...even if it's empty.

The Queen isn't required to have a driver's license.

The Queen's dogs are always prepared gourmet meals.

And they're never reprimanded.

Prince Phillip is required to walk behind the Queen.

Diplomatic dressing is a must.

That's just one of the crazy-strict rules they have to follow.
