Taylor Swift has thousands and thousands of fans (also known as Swifties) around the world who love listening to her music, and there is a certain British royal who happens to be one of them.

On Monday, Prince William, 41, attended the 2023 Tusk Conservation Awards, where he presented the Tusk Award to Fanny Minesi, who is a conservation leader fighting to make a change in the Democratic Republic of the Congo located in Central Africa.

During the event, Rolling Stones member Ronnie Wood (a Tusk Ambassador) had a chance to catch up with the prince. And that’s when he learned about William’s love for the “Cruel Summer” singer.

According to The Telegraph, the rockstar, 76, said, “We were talking about the tour and I said, ‘Come on, you’ve got to come out on tour,’ and we were talking about the new album and everything.” Wood continued, “William said [he would] if we could get Taylor Swift there.”

Then apparently after Wood explained to William that fellow Rolling Stones bandmate Mick Jagger recently performed with Swift, the royal dad of three started to warm up to the idea of going on tour with the group. “I’m there then,” the royal told the musician.

Back in 2013, William got to live every Swiftie’s dream when he joined the “Cardigan” singer and Jon Bon Jovi onstage to perform “Livin’ on a Prayer” at the Winter Whites Gala.

During a Christmas-themed episode of Apple Fitness+’s Time to Walk series, which debuted in December 2021, the royal looked back on the moment with fondness. “I’m sat next to Taylor Swift. She’s on my left,” he said at the time. “And after Jon does his first song, there’s a pause, and she turns to me. She puts her hand on my arm, looks me in the eye, and says, ‘Come on, William. Let’s go and sing.’”

William continued, “To this day, I still do not know what came over me. Honestly, even now I’m cringing at what happened next, and I don’t understand why I gave in. But, frankly, if Taylor Swift looks you in the eye, touches your arm, and says, ‘Come with me…’ I got up like a puppy and went, ‘Yeah, okay, that seems like a great idea.”

At this point, who isn’t a Swiftie?
