Apparently Prince William Helped Do Kate Middleton's Hair On Their Wedding Day

From Women's Health

Prince William and Kate Middleton have officially been married for nine years today. And in honor of their wedding anniversary, Kate's wedding-day hairstylist is here to spill all the details about how her look came together. No surprise, the most interesting bit is how William helped her stylist finish her hair before their wedding reception.

After the massive wedding ceremony in 2011, Kate and William went over to Clarence House for their reception. For the second celebration, Kate opted for a fuzzy white cardigan and a satin gown. To keep with the understated yet glam look, stylist Richard Ward gave her a fresh blowout. He explained to People, "I wanted to show Kate the back of her hair, and I was struggling to walk with this 500-year-old mirror."

I guess they don't have those lightweight hand mirrors that you can get from CVS for $5 in the palace because William had to jump in to help with this massive ancient one. Richard continued, "He just said, ‘Let me give you a hand,’ and I said, ‘No, no, honestly,’ but he took one end and I’ve got the other and we’re shuffling along with this mirror—he’s great, he really is."

Since today is William and Kate's wedding anniversary, some royal fans are wondering how they're celebrating. Sadly, coronavirus put a damper on whatever plans they might've had, so they're self-isolating like everyone else. But at least they're in a fancy country home with their family!
