Apparently Gigi Hadid Wants to Be a Fashion Designer

Fearing that giving Gigi Hadid the title of his brand’s global ambassador would be too “boring,” Tommy Hilfiger has instead enlisted the 20-year-old pop culture phenom as a designer.
The New York Times, which paints a rather unsavory picture of the supermodel and her overuse of the word “amazing” in its article, reports that Hilfiger and Hadid have collaborated on a capsule collection which will debut next fall. Appropriately, she will also star as the face of the brand’s campaign.

“Global ambassadorships are a bit overused and not too exciting,” Hilfiger told the paper. “We’re really doing something different. We’re creating a line called Gigi by Tommy Hilfiger, using her style, her sense, her social media presence as the top supermodel in the world today.”
