When we think of holiday trees, most of us immediately imagine the ornament-bedecked, light-covered Christmas trees we've seen on display around the world and in our homes. But there's another holiday that (apparently) uses trees for celebration—Easter. It's actually a German tradition called Ostereierbaum, where people create and decorate Easter trees or bushes, usually by hanging eggs on a bare-branched tree. The custom is mostly found in European countries, but lately they've been popping up all over the U.S.—and our Pinterest feeds.
