We've Discovered the Dreamiest Summer Getaway
Our newest summer vacation rental crush isn't a quaint cabin on the beach or a ritzy five-star resort, but it does have the trappings of both, rolled into the ultimate camping (yes, camping!) experience on the beautiful coast of southern Maine.
Down a gravel drive just a few minutes from charming Kennebunkport sits a collection of 12 brand new safari-style tents and three tipis that are making our dreams of sleeping under the stars (by the beach!) come true. Each glamping tent at Sandy Pines Campground was decorated by a different New England interior designer, making each stay not only luxe, but unique. You'll want to make friends with your fellow campers just to catch a peek inside their gorgeous digs.

Outfitted with king beds, cozy seating areas, indoor-outdoor rugs, local art, and well-appointed front porches, the glamping tents at Sandy Pines front a thoughtfully landscaped common lawn that features a fire pit surrounded by Adirondacks.
Sandy Pines Campground backs up to a salt-water pond that's perfect for canoeing and paddleboarding, and it has a saltwater pool, a general store (with an incredible collection of s'mores ingredients and recipes to pique your campfire creativity), and is a quick bike ride to gorgeous Goose Rocks Beach.
