These New ‘Sweater Weather’ Sheets Gave Us the Best Night’s Sleep We’ve Had in Months

We're not usually the sort to lose our marbles over a sheet set. But after recently previewing Brooklinen's buzzy new twill bedding collection, we kind of haven't been able to shut up about it.

Inspired by hygge and crafted for "sweater-weather," these puppies feel like your favorite worn-in T-shirt and flannel button-down fused together in the softest science experiment of all time.

And for this particular home editor, who tends to run hot and cold throughout the night, they left us feeling remarkably well rested come morning. (Gone was our usual 3 a.m. fit of kicking off—then pulling up—the covers.)

So what exactly makes these sheets so soft? Combed long-staple cotton and the unique diagonal weave of the twill (which yields a fuzzy yet featherweight finish).

While the collection comes in five fab colorways, we're especially partial to the microstripe options (charcoal/cream and navy/white), which provide a subtle pop of visual interest.

So there you have it, folks. If anyone needs us, we'll be snuggled under these sheets reading The Little Book of Hygge until spring.
