ABC is bringing back the beloved sitcom Roseanne, which will premiere on the network this March. But when bringing back the show, the creators had to answer a big question: what to do with the two Beckys?

In Season 6 of the show, Sarah Chalke replaced Lecy Goranson as Becky after Goranson decided to leave to attend college. Goranson came back from time to time, and the two Beckys became a running joke. The producers of the new reboot wanted Goranson to play Becky, but didn't want to forget about Chalke's contributions to the show, so they're casting her as a new character with a connection to the Conner family.

Entertainment Weekly reports Chalke will play Andrea, a middle-class woman who hires Becky to be her surrogate. That causes some drama within the family. "I love the part! It's such a fun part to play," Chalke, who became known as "Second Becky," told the magazine, adding that she was thrilled to hear the show was coming back. "Right now when the country is so divided, I really think it's a show that brings people together. The writing is so unbelievable. It's so funny."

The show will look very familiar otherwise to those who loved the sitcom, which ran from 1988 to 1997. "You will feel the emotion from seeing that set again," show runner Bruce Helford told the magazine. "It will be an extra-special experience." The show will have an hour-long premiere on March 27, and run for nine episodes total.
