Here's How the Public Can Watch the Memorial Services for John McCain

This week, several memorial services are taking place to honor the late Arizona Senator John McCain. McCain, who served his country both in the Navy and in the United States Congress, died last Saturday at the age of 81 following a year-long fight with brain cancer.

This morning there will be a public processional from the Capitol to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. According to McCain's website, "The motorcade will pause at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial where Mrs. Cindy McCain will lay a ceremonial wreath honoring all whose lives were lost during the Vietnam War. The public is welcome to line the procession route along Constitution Avenue to pay their respects to Senator McCain."

The senator will then make his way to Washington National Cathedral for a private, invitation-only memorial service at which former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama will speak.

On Friday, McCain lay in state in the rotunda of the United State Capitol. A memorial ceremony in the Capitol also took place.

Following the service, members of the public were invited to pay their respects to the Senator from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. eastern.

On Thursday, there was a public procession from the Arizona State Capitol to North Phoenix Baptist Church, where a religious memorial service took place.

McCain's close friend former Vice President Joe Biden gave a moving eulogy, as did McCain's daughter Bridget.

Earlier this week morning, McCain lay in state at the Arizona State Capitol. There was a private ceremony in the rotunda to honor his lifelong dedication to public service.
