Here's How Meghan Markle's Mom Feels About Becoming a Royal Grandma
Now that the duke and duchess of Sussex are expecting (!!!), we can hardly contain our joy. But we have a feeling that grandma-to-be Doria Ragland might be even more excited than we are.
According to Kensington Palace, Meghan’s mother stated that she “is very happy about this lovely news, and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild.” Yep, we’d be happy too if our grandchild was *literal* royalty.
What we want to know is, when did Meghan break the news to her mother? Was she the first to know? Or did she find out at this weekend’s royal wedding? (Did Oprah know?) According to unconfirmed reports, Meghan is just about 12 weeks into her pregnancy, but we have a feeling Ragland has been keeping the secret for some time now…
One thing’s for sure: It looks like the little lord or lady is going to be one spoiled lucky grandchild. (Jealous.)
