As soon as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement was announced (and even before, really), rumors about details of their wedding began circulating. It will be Memorial Day weekend! Serena Williams will be there! Trump won't!

And today, the newest: Meghan and Harry will have a banana wedding cake. Because... the couple loves bananas!

"This will be the first royal wedding cake made from bananas," a source tells The Telegraph.

"As well as acting as a symbol for their affection, Prince Harry is said to love 'anything with banana,'" writes the paper. Harry "loved banana flan, anything with banana really, banana ice cream," the former royal chef said in a previous interview to Hello!, The Telegraph reports.

Sure, who doesn't love bananas! Banana bread? Kind of the best! Banana pudding? Delish! But symbol of their affection...? Apparently!

Last year, Meghan Markle posted a photo of two bananas spooning (or, what will henceforth be known as "bananaing") on her Instagram. Some people interpreted it as the actress confirming her relationship with Prince Harry. Because ...BANANAS!?!?
