'Good Place' Actress Calls Out Kim Kardashian

In case you haven't had a chance to scroll through Instagram lately, Kim Kardashian posted a photo of herself looking beautiful (per usual) and sucking on a lollipop. But not just any lollipop! A lollipop that claims to suppress your appetite.

While people can certainly make their own decisions about diet and exercise, there is potentially an interesting conversation to be had here about what kind of message this sends to women-and The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil seems ready to start it.

Jamil, who plays Tahani on what's obviously the best show of all time, hit up Twitter with a rather harsh message for Kim, writing "No. Fuck off. No. You terrible and toxic influence on young girls. I admire their mother’s branding capabilities, she is an exploitative but innovative genius, however this family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to."

Jamil also encouraged women (er, and maybe Kim directly) to focus on other things in life than getting a flat stomach, writing, "MAYBE don’t take appetite suppressors and eat enough to fuel your BRAIN and work hard and be successful. And to play with your kids. And to have fun with your friends. And to have something to say about your life at the end, other than 'I had a flat stomach.'"
