He's a Fighter! Jimmy Kimmel's Son Billy Undergoes Second Heart Surgery

At the ripe age of 7 months, Jimmy Kimmel’s son Billy is already giving us major Rocky vibes.

ABC announced in a statement yesterday that the 7-month-old underwent his second successful heart surgery on Monday, December 4. The operation was originally scheduled for late October, but doctors decided to postpone the surgery after the Kimmel family came down with the common cold.

The network also revealed that Kimmel will take the next week off to spend time with his family and will have some exciting celebrity guests fill in for him as host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney, welcomed baby Billy in April of this year. He was diagnosed with a rare heart condition, tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with pulmonary atresia, shortly after his birth and will need additional surgeries in his teen years to fully repair the defect. Kimmel and McNearney are also parents to a 3-year-old daughter, Jane.

Welp, we’d do anything to get ahold of those cheeks. Keep on fighting, Billy!
