Here's Exactly How to Watch Princess Eugenie's Royal Wedding
There legit only one day left until Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank get married, and it's time to start planning exactly where you'll be and what you'll be drinking (tea and coffee 'cause it's going to be early AF). If "where do I even watch this thing?" has crossed your mind, wonder no more because here's everything you need to know about tuning in on October 12 to watch the second biggest British royal wedding this year.
For starters, if you're in England or somewhere in the same time zone, consider yourself super lucky because you won't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to see Eugenie's dress that's been shrouded in mystery. For those in America, it's going to be an early start. Like, you might as well not even go to bed because the festivities start at 4:25 a.m. EST.
To watch in America, you really only have two options in terms of stations and live streams to tune in to. As Harper's Bazaar found out, TLC, the home of Say Yes to the Dress, will be the only station airing Eugenie's Windsor Castle wedding. Hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will be on for TLC's live broadcast called Royal Wedding Live: Princess Eugenie.
If you don't wake up in time, don't worry, TLC's got your back and will air it again at 7:25 a.m. If you miss that one, um, try setting multiple alarms next time! But also try going over to the TLC GO app to watch everything. To watch the wedding on the app or on TV, you just need your own or, TBH, your friend's ex-boyfriend's parents' login.
If you don't have a cable login on hand, you can pop over to YouTube to watch a live stream from The Royal Family official channel and The Duke of York channel starting at 5 a.m. EST. These two YouTube channels will show you everything from a performance by opera singer Andrea Bocelli and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to Eugenie and Jack saying "I do." There's no word on if YouTube will include any news commentary or air any of the arrivals, but you can definitely watch the couple's carriage departure on the video platform.
For the British folk, a series of special programming will air on ITV's This Morning show starting at 9:25 a.m. UK time leading up to the 11 a.m. nuptials, and the same hosts who are doing the TLC broadcast will be working on the ITV one. BBC and Sky News will air news coverage and special moments from the wedding during their regular programming, but for full coverage, you should stick to TLC and ITV.
