'The Bush Years: Family, Duty, Power' Premieres on CNN This Sunday Night

After Sunday supper this weekend, mark your calendar: The Bush Years: Family, Duty, Power, a CNN original series will debut at 9:00pm ET this Sunday, March 3rd on the television news network.

According to CNN, the six-episode docu-series "...traces the Bush family's role in shaping our politics and our history. In a bit of a role reversal, Pierce Bush, the grandson of one President and nephew of another sits down with CNN's John King to discuss his experiences covering the Bush Family."

Earlier today, Town and Country (which aired an exclusive trailer for the series) revealed more intel on the upcoming biopic series. First, The Bush Years will be hosted by actor Ed Harris and include plenty of original footage documenting the Bush family's rise to office. Town and Country's Caroline Hallemann also revealed that the series' synopsis indicates that "...it will focus on the Bushes' 'influential matriarchs,' 'sibling ambitions,' and the 'unceasing competitive spirit which drove them to power.'"

Of course, it's been a big week for the Bush family, with the announcement that Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W.Bush, will take over as co-host of TODAY's fourth hour following Kathie Lee Gifford's departure this spring.
