The Brown family, stars of Discovery Channel's Alaskan Bush People, has had to deal with some scary health situations ever since they landed on TV screens in 2014. Family matriarch Ami Brown was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in 2017, and was given a 3% chance of survival. She beat the cancer a year later after a grueling treatment of radiation and chemotherapy.

And 14-year-old daughter Rain Brown opened up later that year about her experience with depression, explaining on Instagram how she had been struggling with "depression, life, and some teen girl probs too."

Now, son Solomon "Bear" Brown is dealing with a health scare of his own. According to People, the 30 year old had to rush to the emergency room after an injury to his eye left him with a scratched cornea. He shared a photo of his hospital bracelet with fans online.

Luckily, Brown is doing well. "He was running through the woods (as usual) and he ran into a branch that injured his eye," a Discovery rep told People. "He went to the hospital and found that he had a scratched cornea. He will be fine."

The TV star also shared an Instagram photo of the eye patch that he'll have to wear for the next few days. However, Brown should be back to hunting, fishing, and running through the forest again in no time. According to the Mayo Clinic, a corneal abrasion usually heals in a day or two.
