Anyone Who Misses The Opaque Blue Scooby-Doo Fruit Snack Will Relate To This TikTok

From Delish

One flavor in the original Scooby-Doo fruit snacks produced by General Mills stood out from the rest: the opaque, light blue one shaped like Scooby-Doo. For whatever reason, it was different and, objectively, the best in the pack. Unfortunately, they no longer exist. One TikToker only recently discovered this, and her reaction is incredibly relatable.

ICYMI, General Mills reformulated the Scooby-Doo fruit snacks in 2015 after committing to remove all artificial flavors and colors from its range of fruity products. This left many, understandably, completely devastated. When TikToker @hannah.song found this out, she decided to make her own.

In the video, she shares her discovery and how she went about recreating the beloved blue snack. “It’s been a couple days, but it’s really bothering me,” she said in the video: “I really don’t understand why they stopped making them...literally everybody loved them.”

While she made a Scooby-Doo mold from the less-alluring current ones and fashioned the gelatin mixture, she said no longer selling the original fruit snacks is “overall completely evil” and makes her want to buy the product even less. Relatable!

In the end, the homemade snacks actually look like the OG ones. There’s no telling what they taste like, though. After a big sigh, the creator gave a final remark: “I can’t even remember what it tasted like.”

Honestly, I feel this reaction deep in my soul. It's a fruit snack tragedy! At least we can all mourn the OG Scooby-Doo fruit snacks together. Misery loves company, etc. Also, someone made a petition last year to bring the original snacks back, so maybe that will gain some traction and action!
