After what feels like forever (but in reality was only five months into the new year) the sunshine finally got the memo it's actually spring right now and has started to make itself known. We're obvs overjoyed, but also slightly panicking we've completely forgotten how to get dressed for the spring and summer.
Will we get cold in our summer dress? Will we be too hot in our quilted jacket? Maybe we should wear our trench coat just in case it rains. These are the questions currently filling our heads when we're getting dressed each morning.
Luckily, Anya Taylor-Joy just served major seasonal style inspo when she was spotted touching down in the French Riviera ahead of the 77th Annual Cannes Film Festival that kicks off today [Tuesday 14 May]. And as well as being weather-appropriate, her 'fit features a blouse from one of our favourite affordable fashion brands.
Launched in 2020 by Emma Hill, London-based label Damson Madder quickly amassed a cult following amongst Instagram fashion girlies and Fashion Editors alike. The brand's collections are imbued with an effortless feel, from its cottagecore shirred midi dresses in floral patterns to the leopard print cargo jeans that were an instant bestseller in the Pre-Fall 23 collection and were no doubt a precursor to the current popularity of the animal fabric.
But the best part? Everything is super affordable. Items are accessibly priced while still possessing a quality built to last, in line with Damson Madder's responsible and eco-conscious mission to produce products that don't have a devastating environmental impact. Okay, that's actually two good things.
