Anya Taylor-Joy looked pretty in pink in a rosy leather gown at Michelle Yeoh’s star-studded London Oscars party! The Menu actress, 26, turned heads at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel last week in a waist-emphasizing bubblegum dress with a skimpy straps, a corseted top and high-low skirt that emphasized her long, toned legs. The Queen’s Gambit alum paired this piece with matching heeled booties, and epically showed us all how ‘Barbiecore‘ is done.

Anya Taylor-Joy Lights Up Michelle Yeoh’s Oscars Party In All-Pink Get-Up

To complete her look, Taylor-Joy accessorized with chunky, shiny silver rings. She wore her long blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into elegant loose waves. As for her makeup look, the Emma star went for black winged eyeliner with rose-colored eyeshadow, radiant, warm blush on her high cheekbones, and she topped it all off with a glossy mauve lipstick hue.

 


At the soiree, Taylor-Joy helped honor her friend Yeoh, 60, who won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once. Yeoh rocked a fitted tan dress and sleek black heels. The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon actress uploaded snaps from her bash in an Instagram post for her 2.1 million followers, including shots with the glowing and stylish Taylor-Joy.

Fans React To Taylor-Joy’s ‘Princess Peach’ Look

Taylor-Joy also notably voices Princess Peach (who usually sports all-pink looks) in the animated film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, out this month. As fans on Twitter were in awe of her look from Yeoh’s party, some noted that it was an ensemble Taylor-Joy’s beloved video game character would approve of!

 

 


Others were obsessed with the fact that Taylor-Joy was spotted chatting with Ariana Grande at the party (who will play the usually all-pink-clad Glinda the Good Witch in the upcoming Wicked film). As one fan put it best, “wish we were there to see this!”
