Anya Taylor-Joy Is Officially Married

She wed Malcolm McRae in Italy.

Anya-Taylor Joy and Malcolm McRae are married. The couple made things officially official this weekend with a gorgeous Italian wedding at the Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice, per the Daily Mail.

The outlet also obtained images from the nuptials, including one of Taylor-Joy on a balcony in her veil and stunning custom taupe tulle Dior gown adorned with crystals, birds, and flowers. Other photos captured the arrival of some of their A-list guests, including Cara Delevingne, Julia Garner, and her husband Mark Foster, on the city's famed water taxis.

Other guests on the star-studded invite list (which was just over 150 people, according to Daily Mail) included Miles Teller, Keleigh Sperry, Nicolas Hoult, Evan Ross, and more.

"She was a vision," one source told People, referring to Taylor-Joy's wedding look. The insider added that after the two said "I do" on Saturday, they held a brunch at the St Regis on Sunday.

The couple initially met back in 2021 at the premiere of The Queen's Gambit. Just a few days later, the musician grabbed Taylor-Joy's attention when he shared a song he wrote for her to Instagram. Evidently, the flirty move worked in McRae's favor. (Malcolm and Anya walked so Travis and Taylor could run.)

In a 2022 interview with British Vogue, the actress gushed about McRae and their comfort level around each other. “I've finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading," she said. “I said to my partner the other day that he was my hobby. I see reading as something that I have to do. He loved it because he's the same. We're basically 80 years old and 7 at the same time, and it works really well."
