In June 2022, Anya Taylor-Joy sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted flashing what could be a wedding band to photographers while arriving in Sydney, Australia, according to Page Six. But TBH, forget the ring. Did you see her pod-pack that carried her adorable cat Kitsune? (I digress.)
So who’s the lucky man? It’s none other than 28-year-old musician and member of the band more*, Malcolm McRae. ICYMI, The Queen’s Gambit star and the singer/pianist/guitarist have been dating since early 2021 and already act like an old married couple (complimentary). “I’ve finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading,” Anya told British Vogue for the magazine’s April issue. “We’re basically 80 years old and seven at the same time and it works really well.”
If these two could get any cuter, Malcolm actually wrote a song for Anya just two days after they met, according to People. What’s more: These two share a birthday, as evidenced by the uber sweet joint birthday post the Golden Globe winner shared on Instagram in April.
