Anya Taylor-Joy Cosplays As Princess Peach In A Bubblegum Pink Racing Jumpsuit At ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ Premiere

Anya Taylor-Joy arrived to the Super Mario Bros. Movie premiere in character while rocking a pink jumpsuit! The Queen’s Gambit alum, 26, (who voices the usually all-pink-clad Princess Peach in the new animated film) sported a cute bubblegum-colored get-up from Dior that honored her role.

The Emma actress is no stranger to epic monochromatic Barbiecore looks, and completed her rosy leather red carpet ensemble with darker pink boots, moto gloves and dangly, shimmering earrings.

As for her glam, Taylor-Joy wore her (and Princess Peach’s) signature long blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into elegant, loose waves. For her makeup look, the Northman star went for a kohl-rimmed, silvery smokey eye, sky-high lashes, radiant light red blush, and she topped it all off with a glossy mauve lipstick.

Taylor-Joy shared a fun red carpet shot (and a better look at her instantly iconic outfit) with fans in an Instagram post for her 9.9 million followers. Along with a full-body snap and another pic of her signing autographs at the event, she wrote in her caption, “Peach came to play.”

She continued, “So wonderful celebrating @supermariomovie with so many of you :) Big love to @illuminationent @universalpictures, Nintendo and our beautiful cast… and @dior for making me Peach’s moto suit! Beep beep loveee.”

Naturally, fans were obsessed with Taylor-Joy's IRL Princess Peach cosplay, with one commenting, "Peach came to play but you came to SLAYYYY." Another pointed out that Taylor-Joy easily could have "played a live-action Peach even" as someone else deemed her a "stunning style icon." (We agree!)

The Super Mario Bros. Movie hit US theaters on April 5, 2023. Along with Taylor-Joy, the video game-inspired film features a star-studded cast as Chris Pratt voices Mario, Jack Black plays his arch-nemesis Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key stars as Toad, and Seth Rogen portrays Donkey Kong, among others.
