Antti Ollila's Throwaway Clips Are Still Mind-Blowingly Good

Professional skier Antti Ollila is good, like... really, really good.

So good, in fact, that he casually dropped an Instagram post of seven fantastic clips on a random Sunday in July that totally blew my mind. He calls these clips 'extras', as in they weren't good enough to make an edit he's working on.

Check them out below. You'll see what I mean:

Imagine being that good. Must be nice. That little tail tap on the tube in clip 4 was so satisfying. I have to call that out.

Ollila is a freestyle skier from Finland. He's currently sponsored by Faction Skis, Quiksilver, and Julbo Eyewear. He finished 13th in Slopestyle at the Winter 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Ollila isn't competing much these days, but at just 28 years old, he's clearly still got a lot of skiing left in the tank.

Check out his short film 'DUSK' below:

Antti Ollila: "Night laps, sidehits, powder and spring slush, from the dark nights of Northern Finland to the snowy and sunny Alps in the winter of 2022.

Dusk is a skiing shortfilm created by Antti Ollila and Joonas Mattila. I just wanted to make a film that showcases the way I like to ski , the tricks I enjoy and and features that are fun to me, what feels good.

Hopefully this film makes you want to get out there and ride the mountain, hill or whatever you got, the way you like it. -Antti

Featuring: Antti Ollila, Joona Kangas and Pontus Penttilä; Presented by: Quiksilver, Faction Skis and Julbo Eyewear; Cover shot by: Germain Favre-Felix; Poster design by Fanny Blanc / Fanf Workshop; Music: Verma - Salted Earth"
