Antonio Brown reacts to 'Antonio Clown' Halloween costumes: 'Go get some candy'

An unflattering version of Antonio Brown seemed to be a popular costume this Halloween — at least, according to the wide receiver's Twitter.

Brown spent the holiday on Thursday critiquing the costumes of several Twitter users who dressed up as "Antonio Clown," a play on his last name and his recent legal issues. The base of each outfit was a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey, with some carrying signs referencing his current unemployment and others donning clown makeup and wigs.

The former Steeler quote-tweeted several costumes that were sent his way, critiquing a few of the looks and telling some to simply "go get some candy."

Brown has been active on social media since he was released by his most recent team, the New England Patriots, in September.

During a recent tweetstorm, Brown answered questions regarding his relationship with the Patriots and team owner Robert Kraft, insisting to fans who want him back in the league that he had issued an apology to the franchise.

Twitter isn't the seven-time Pro-Bowler's only outlet, though. He also turned to Instagram earlier in October to seek his fans' help in contacting the Patriots, claiming that there are still unpaid wages from his short stint with the team.

Brown last played in the NFL during New England's Week 2 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
