Antonio Banderas Shaved Off His Eyebrows—and Other Highlights From the Week in Grooming

Welcome to another edition of Grooming Gods; a weekly recap of the best celebrity haircuts, beards, and other grooming adventures, courtesy of our favorite stylish gentlemen across the globe. This week Antonio Banderas shaved off his eyebrows and a few other guys did a few other things that we slightly less shocking, but still cool.

Best Spring Makeover: Kanye West

Earlier this week, on the first official day of spring, Kanye West stepped out in Calabasas with hair the color of pink lemonade. Not only was it on-season, it was also perfectly on point with the rest of his outfit, and Kim's too. (All Yeezy Season, natch.) Art direction aside, we just genuinely like this grown-out, high texture version of the popular technicolor crop.

Best Fuzz: Jeff Goldblum

Between his buttery soft leather jacket, perfectly groomed facial hair, and actual live puppy (!), Jeff Goldblum is packing a lot of texture into one look here. Which is fitting—the man is texture. If you can grow similar scruff, we encourage you to wear yours just the same way. Bonus points if you procure those other touchable items too.

Shiniest Fade: Gregg Sulkin

Gregg Sulkin is a young British actor working on making a name for himself in Hollywood. If that doesn't work out, he can definitely pivot to a career as a hair model. We're pretty sure there's a poster-size version of Sulkin's mug hanging in our neighborhood salon. To approximate this look yourself, reach for oil-based pomades—they have the most shine.

Best Texture: Jay-Z

Jay-Z rocked a military-short buzz-cut for a long time, which is a shame—because the man looks exceptionally good with hair. We especially like the length and texture of Jay's current cut, which is freewheeling while still allowing his collection of custom-made suits—and Beyonce's various jaw-dropping ensembles—to take center stage.

"You Do You" of the Week: Antonio Banderas

Zayn Malik's blonde beard was going to earn this week's "You Do You" award, but Antonio Banderas managed to top even that when he showed up on the red carpet with a different kind of matchy-matchy grooming look. We're assuming Banderas shaved his head and eyebrows in homage to Pablo Picasso, whom he plays in a new TV show called Genius. If you do this, you better have as good a reason.
