No judgment! Netflix surprised everyone by dropping new episodes of the Karate Kid spinoff a whole week early. What choice did we have but to settle in for one of Ree Drummond’s favorite shows, and truly start 2021 off right?
All to say, you’re not alone—Cobra Kai seems to be all anyone can talk about. (Psst, season 4 is coming!) Yes, the drama with Johnny (William Zabka), LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), and the rest of the cast is seriously good. But the season’s biggest mystery goes far beyond that. Are you ready for it?

Was…Was that Anthony Michael Hall playing Captain Turner???
So many fans were flabbergasted when Captain Turner appeared on the screen because he looks just like the actor from some of the best ‘80s movies of all time. The resemblance is uncanny! But we’re here to tell you that sadly, that is not the man we know and love from Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club. It’s actually the equally talented Terry Serpico from The Flight Attendant, Army Wives, and Homeland.
While most eventually figured that out, the reactions were still pretty great. Twitter was ablaze with photos and funny jokes about how the two are basically long lost twins. Can you blame them? Look at the evidence!

This is obviously not the only time the two have been confused, and as one user suggested, they definitely need to be cast as brothers someday.
I'm no #CastingDirector, but IMO, when 2 actors look like brothers or sisters or related, HOW they're not cast in a movie &/or TV Show is mind boggling!
