Ant Anstead is single but keeping busy. Since his divorce from HGTV's Christina Haack in September 2020, he's taken on a few TV gigs—including starring in his own show (details soon to come, but it's definitely about cars!). In a recent interview with People, the former Wheeler Dealers host opened up about these new roles and how he's been rebuilding his life since parting ways with Haack.

As you may recall, Anstead moved to the States in 2017 to film Wheeler Dealers. Then he met Haack, they got married, welcomed the adorable Hudson London, and then, well, things took a turn—we recap their entire relationship here. Following the split, the Christina on the Coast star stayed put in their Newport Beach home, while Anstead packed up and left. While it's unknown where exactly he's been kicking back, he does reveal that he has no attachment to it whatsoever.

"I feel like I need a home. It's been over six months now," he told the outlet, adding that while he has so many exciting things going on in his professional life, he's struggled to find that special place where he and Hudson can feel anchored. "I still feel... I feel displaced," he continued, "so I feel like if I can find a home, I can really start to rebuild from there."

The single dad's criterion for what makes a house a home is pretty simple —he just wants a place where he and Hudson can be happy and healthy. He's also adamant about staying in America. When he left Wheeler Dealers in November, (as the show was heading back to the UK) he explained in an interview with his co-stars that he felt like he had already planted his roots in the United States. "My world is here," he said, making note that he can never be too far from Hudson.
