Another cast member for the new Ghostbusters sequel has confirmed that they will be returning to bust some serious ghosts.

Ernie Hudson played Winston Zeddemore in the classic 1984 comedy and its sequel, and confirmed in a video message on Cameo that he'll be back to wage battle against the supernatural.

Posting a birthday message for a fan, Ernie wore his Zeddemore jumpsuit to officially confirm what we all suspected.

He said: "We're shooting the new Ghostbusters right now, coming out next summer, so I'm hoping that you'll enjoy it as much as the other movies that we've done.

"I know that I'm having a blast doing them."

He added: "If someone asks if you're a god, you say yes!"—a classic line from the iconic original.

We can't wait.

The news comes shortly after Dan Aykroyd confirmed he will also be returning for the new sequel.

The star said: "Ivan Reitman's son Jason has written a new movie, called —well, it's gonna be Ghostbusters, the third movie.

"It'll be all or most of the original people. And then young stars. It's gonna be great.

"I'm so excited about it, and it's just wonderful to be able to [go] back and revisit that. I don't do the pictures anymore much, and I'm in that one."

Original star Sigourney Weaver also previously shared she would be appearing.

Also joining the film will be Carrie Coon, as well as Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard and Captain Marvel's Mckenna Grace, who will act as the central family trio, with Jason Reitman sharing a first look at the three in character back in July.

We know who we're gonna call.
