Annual kite festival ready to kick off in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Get ready to grab a kite and head over to a Cumberland County park for a festival.

The 25th annual Kite Festival will be held on Sunday, May 19, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fiala Fields, located along S 21st St. in Camp Hill, officials said in a news release.

During the event, the Keystone Kiters will demonstrate different kites to all children and adults will be able to help make kites with help. There will also be a homemade kite contest with prizes for the most original, best flying and more.

York County school helps students feel less stressed during state testing

Attendees are urged to park in the Hoover Elementary School parking lot and Camp Hill United Methodist Church parking lot and then walk over to the fields.

There is no scheduled rain date for the event.
