Announcing the 2020 Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Palm Beach
The Kips Bay Decorator Show House is headed back to Palm Beach for the third year in 2020 and will take place in a spectacular residence with interiors originally designed by Lars Bolander. Kips Bay will work with top interior design talent from across the country to transform its interiors and showcase the very best of today's home design products and ideas.
The plantation-style house, affectionally known as Bamboo Hill and located on a double lot, was inspired by South African and Dutch architecture. It comprises 8,751 square feet.
But what really makes this property stand out is the seamless connection between the airy indoor spaces and the lush garden spaces.
Nearly every room in the main home opens to the outdoors, from the vaulted-ceiling great room with French doors that open to an expansive loggia to the spacious kitchen with an adjacent outdoor dining terrace.
Even the large master bedroom suite, one of four bedrooms in the main house, boasts pool and garden views.
The estate also includes two guesthouses and a poolhouse, making it an ideal spot for outdoor and weekend entertaining.
The Show House will be open to the public February 1, 2020, through March 1, 2020, with an opening night preview party January 31, 2020. Proceeds from Show House tickets support the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in the Bronx, New York, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, which together serve 18,000 youth (ages 6-18).
