On Sunday, May 12th, many of the fastest cross-country racers in North and South America will line up in Soldier Hollow, Utah for the Pan American Championship.

Watch former pro rider and Bentonville-based coach Anneke Beerten preview the course for USA Cycling.

The Pan American Championship is returning to US for the first time in over 20 years. The race will be held at the nordic skiing venue used at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics

The US will send a stacked squad to compete in this year. Haley Batten, Kate Courtney, Kelsey Urban, and Christopher Blevins will be the biggest names wearing the stars and stripes Sunday.

Batten and Blevins are coming off a victory each at the first rounds of the Cross-country World Cup in Brazil, while Urban and Courtney had top-10 results. The Americans are poised to put on a show on their home turf.

Stay tuned for results from the event as they become available.
