Anne Hathaway is the queen of standout red carpet looks, and yet, somehow, she keeps managing to one-up herself.
With sheer dresses dominating the fashion world, the look’s shock factor is slowly fading, but The Princess Diaries alum managed to spice things up with an updated take on the style.
At first glance, it looks like she’s not wearing anything underneath the fishnet-style overlay, but upon closer inspection, you can see that it’s just due to the nude hue of the beige bodysuit.
The naked dress style was accentuated with leather bows throughout to usher in a more classic look.

The 40-year-old star rocked the Valentino Haute Couture number—paired with matching opera-length gloves and pointed black stilettos— to the premiere of She Came to Me at the Berlin Film Festival on Thursday night.
Since the dress served as its own statement piece, Hathway wore her hair in a chic updo, her fringe bangs having a moment of their own as she posed for the cameras.

Hathway stars in the upcoming romantic comedy as a controlling therapist whose husband, a composer, played by Peter Dinklage, finds himself enamored with another woman played by Marisa Tomei.
The film also stars Nicole Kidman, Steve Carrell, Brian D'Arcy James, Amy Schumer, and more.
Hathaway previously made a statement in a leopard print ensemble, encrusted head-to-toe in diamonds, along with a hot pink sequin dress with platform heels that tapped into the Barbiecore trend.
