Anne Hathaway is expecting her second child with her husband Adam Shulman, the actress announced on her Instagram today. Hathaway showed a selfie of herself and her baby bump, writing, "It’s not for a movie...⁣⁣#2⁣." She also touched on her journey getting pregnant, sending love to other women struggling. "⁣All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love 💕"

Hathaway welcomed her first child with Shulman, their son Jonathan Rosebanks, in March 2016. E! reported in March 2017 that Hathaway wanted to expand her family eventually. "Anne wants more kids," the outlet's source said. "She wanted to wait until Jonathan was a little older before they started trying again. She wants Jonathan to have a sibling."

While Hathaway has kept her son off her social media for the most part, Hathaway has spoken a little about motherhood. She made headlines for her decision to give up drinking while her son is growing up. "I'm gonna stop drinking while my son's living in my house just because I don't totally love the way I do it, and he's getting to an age where he really does need me all the time in the mornings," she told Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in January 2019. "I did one school run one day where I dropped him off at school. I wasn't driving, but I was hungover and that was enough for me, I didn't love that."
