Anna Kendrick Shares Theory That This Popular Actress Doesn’t Like Her

The actress revealed her thoughts to the star's husband.

Oscar-nominated actress Anna Kendrick recently came clean about a theory she has involving another well-known actress, although she admitted that she didn't really know what gave her that impression.

While guesting on Dax Shepard's podcast, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, the Parenthood star first revealed to Kendrick that she's the only person that he's ever seen wife, actress Kristen Bell, jealous of.

"I've known Kristen for 15 years. She has only had jealousy over a single human and it's been you. I never saw it, it blew my mind. Kristen was like, 'Who is this other short person?' 'Oh, so she can sing like that too.' 'Oh, I'm already here, we got another one?!'" he recalled.

Shepard continued, saying, "In the whole 15 years, she's had nothing but benevolence for everyone and she monitored you, recognized how brilliant you were, lost some roles to you and slowly processed the whole thing and has nothing but wonderful feelings for you. You're the only person that ever made her jealous that I witnessed."

Kendrick was genuinely surprised, literally telling Shepard, "I really feel like I have a comically shocked look on my face."

The Pitch Perfect actress then shared her preconceptions of Bell disliking her, explaining, "I actually have a funny thing with your wife where I never felt like she liked me."

She then clarified that this thought was never really based on anything Bell did, and that, "I do think that a massive percentage of that is just genuinely, when it comes to really sweet angelic blonde girls, I just assume they think I'm weird, they think I'm this weird little troll."

Sharing her opinion of Bell, Kendrick went on: "I think of [Bell] as this angel. She's just so sweet and I feel so rough around the edges that I was like, she must not like me."

Now it was Shepard's turn to be surprised, and he asked Kendrick why she thought this of Bell, to which Kendrick responded, "I couldn't tell you...it was just my typical thing of certain women who look a certain way scare me and I just assume they won't like me."

The conversation went on, with the podcast episode covering some other topics, before Shepard returned to the subject of Kendrick and Bell in order to clarify, "I have to be ultra clear with you, she never disliked you. I just want to say that for the record."

Thankfully, Kendrick understood, and she took it as a major compliment.

"That makes me feel nice," she said before complimenting Bell in turn, stating that she is "unbelievably talented and successful at all the things."
