Anna Kendrick is coming to our TV screens very soon in a brand new rom-com series

Anna Kendrick will star in "Love Life," a new romantic comedy anthology series for the upcoming WarnerMedia streaming service.

In case you had any doubt in your mind, the rom-com has officially made its comeback, and the next one to hit television screens stars Anna Kendrick. She will reunite with director Paul Feig on the romantic comedy anthology Love Life, which will be available on WarnerMedia’s upcoming streaming service. The Pitch Perfect alum also serves as an executive producer for the 10-episode first season, which is “about the journey from first love to last love, and how the people we’re with along the way make us into who we are when we finally end up with someone forever,” according to the official synopsis.

It sort of sounds like a loved-up, PG version of Netflix’s Easy, since each 30-minute episode will tell the story of a different romantic relationship for the protagonist.

The new show is not only the actress’s first television role as a series regular, but it also marks the second collaboration for Kendrick and Feig, who previously worked together on the 2018 film A Simple Favor, co-starring Blake Lively.

Though no other details have been announced, such as when the show is expected to debut, Love Life seems like the perfect series to add to the list of rom-coms we’ve already been gifted with. In recent months, the film genre has made its way back into our lives thanks to movies like To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Long Shot, and Crazy Rich Asians—and now we can add a new television show to the mix.

Folks, the new age of TV rom-coms is here…and it’s about time.
