Anna Faris and Boyfriend Michael Barrett Spark Engagement Rumors: Get the Details About Her Ring
Are Anna Faris and boyfriend Michael Barrett engaged? It’s the question fans can’t help but ask after the Mom actress was photographed wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand on November 3.
In the photos obtained by TMZ, Faris’s ring appears to be a yellow diamond set in a halo of smaller stones. “This ring looks to be a 3 to 3.5-carat cushion cut diamond in a pave halo with a petite split shank,” said Olivia Landau, Founder and CEO of The Clear Cut. She estimates that the ring could retail for as much as $65,000.
“This ring is for someone who loves a lot of sparkle,” she adds. “This style was trendy a few years ago. It’s a great style if you want extra bling or you want to make your center diamond appear larger. It’s for a bubbly personality that likes to be the center of attention.”
The couple’s engagement would mark the next step in their private romance. They reportedly met on the set of the 2017 film Overboard, shortly after Faris’s separation from actor Chris Pratt.
Faris and Pratt were married from 2009 to 2017, and finalized their divorce in 2018. They share a son, Jack, and have since remained committed to co-parenting together (Faris and Barrett have even been spotted on double-dates with Pratt and his new wife Katherine Schwarzenegger).
In April 2019, the actress spoke out about finding love after divorce on the Divorce Sucks! Podcast. “I will say I believe in love and monogamy and I believe in the commitment with a relationship,” she told host Laura Wasser, the separation attorney to the stars.
If the engagement is confirmed, it will be the first marriage for Barrett and the third for Faris, who was also married to actor Ben Indra from 2004 to 2008.
