Anna 'Delvey' Sorokin Lands Major New Gig While Under House Arrest

The ex-convict will invite a variety of interesting guests to dine at her table in a new reality series.

After Netflix dramatized her past for the extremely successful series Inventing Anna, Anna Sorokin, also known as Anna Delvey, plans to tell her own story in a new reality series.

According to a press release, via Variety, "She’ll do it through what’s already become one of the hottest tables in town — invitation-only, intimate dinners at her home." The upcoming show, called Delvey’s Dinner Club, will be filmed in her NYC apartment while she's on house arrest.

The press release further states that, at the apartment, "a Delvey-invited group of actors, musicians, founders, socialites, journalists and other esteemed guests will join her each week around a private-chef catered table replete with candid conversations where no topic is off-limits – including Anna’s experience within the criminal justice system, her strategy to rebuild her image and her plans for the future.”

Delvey's Dinner Club will reportedly give viewers an inside look as Sorokin "reinvents herself and her name."

The 32-year-old said in a statement: "There’s nothing like the experience of bringing together a curated group of friends to share life stories and enjoy a great culinary experience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with Wheelhouse and Butternut to bring my vision to a wider audience and share a glimpse of the real Anna Delvey.”

Sorokin is teaming up with ex-president of the Food Network Courtney White and her media company Butternut.

White commented on the upcoming project as well, stating, "It’s often said the best way to get to know someone is to share a meal with them. We’re all desperate to know who Anna really is. Delvey’s Dinner Club will reveal the actual woman behind everything we’ve read and watched about Anna. She is breaking her story in her own words and we believe she will defy viewers’ expectations.”

As for who some of her dream guests would be, Sorokin revealed a few to Page Six, mentioning Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, Madonna, Serbian artist Marina AbramovicElon Musk, and The Big Short author and journalist Michael Lewis, among others.

Sorokin was convicted of grand larceny and theft in 2019 and sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison, including time already served while awaiting trial. She was released on parole in early 2021 before ICE took her into custody for overstaying her visa. Sorokin was detained for a time until ICE released her on house arrest in October 2022.
