Charlie Sheen and Angus T. Jones

Angus T. Jones—whom many people know as the character Jake Harper from Two and a Half Men—might've quit acting after the sitcom's end in 2015, but he decided to return for a special reunion featuring fellow star Charlie Sheen, who played Charlie Harper. It was perfect timing, as Two and a Half Men just celebrated the 20th anniversary since its premiere in 2003.

Sheen's newest acting role in Bookie, which is a team-up with the creator of Two and a Half Men Chuck Lorre, features a scene in the pilot that brings together Sheen and Jones once again. The scene features main character Danny (played by Sebastian Maniscalco) trying to collect a debt from Sheen, only to find him hosting a poker game in a rehab facility.

Participating in the poker game is none other than Jones, playing himself. The scene is a direct callback to the poker scene in the pilot of Two and a Half Men, with the other poker buddies in Bookie the same actors that appeared in the sitcom in 2003.

Another Two and a Half Men alum makes an appearance in the Bookie episode at the rehab center, with actress Jennifer Taylor, who played the character Chelsea Melini in the older comedy series, meeting Danny and fellow main character Ray, played by Omar J. Dorsey.

Although there was some trouble throughout Two and a Half Men's run between Lorre and Sheen, the two decided to put it behind them.

Lorre explained to Parade in an exclusive interview, "I had come to a place of being really at ease with the whole backstory of our relationship, so I called Charlie and I said, 'Do you want to do this?' And he was gracious and grateful and excited and totally game to make fun of his persona. He killed it."

While speaking with TVLine, Lorre also shared his appreciation for Jones' cameo, saying, "Angus put acting behind after Two and a Half Men, and he just slipped right [back] into it. It was second nature to him. He was a skillful actor at 10 years old, and he was equally skillful at 30."

Sheen also appears in another episode in the first season of Bookie, which premiered on Max on Nov. 30.
