Angelina says yes a 'hundred times' to Vinny 2.0 on 'Jersey Shore Family Vacation'

Angelina didn't say yes. She said yes “a hundred times over” when Vinny 2.0 proposed to her on the Thursday, April 27, episode of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”

It went down at the Sofia Nola restaurant in New Orleans last November on a night that was intended to celebrate Vinny Guadagnino's birthday. Instead, Angelina Pivarnick's boyfriend, Vinny 2.0 from Staten Island, took the floor.

“I don't know if he got the memo but speeches don't go over well in this family so he better be careful,” said Pauly DelVecchio.

Vinny 2.0 soldiered on.

“Your friend Angelina, I love her,” Vinny 2.0 said. “Since I met her, she's been my best friend and more. Meeting all of youse at once, it made things easier getting you all together. Ang, I want you to come up here too if you could.”

Angelina moved to the head of the table.

“What is happening?” said Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. “Is he proposing?”

There was no stopping Vinny 2.0 now.

“I love you so much,” Vinny 2.0 said. “A lot of things in life aren't guaranteed but somethings I learned since I met you is loving you is going to be guaranteed for the rest of my life. And if there's anything beyond life, I want us to love each other through everything — good, bad, little, big. I'll always have your back. I know you'll have my back. I want to grow old with you. I want to experience everything with you … I just want to give you something.”

That would be the ring, which he put on her finger.

“I love you Ang and I hope you'll marry me,” he said.

After a dramatic pause, Angelina said: “A hundred times over, yes, babe!”

The roomies were shocked but appeared happy for the most part.

Despite Botox, JWoww is shocked

“Holy (blank) I'm speechless,” said Jenni “JWoww” Farley. “I had no idea they were even this serious. You might not be able to tell (because) I got Botox but I am (blanking) shocked. We knew she had a new man but I'm, like, so surprised because I just thought she liked our Vinny.”

Angelina gave the original Vinny several lap dances in the Carolinas earlier this season.

“She's got dibs on all Vinnys,” said Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

Yet, there was trouble brewing moments after the proposal. Jenni and her boyfriend, pro wrestler Zack Clayton, start to shade Angelina and Vinny 2.0.

“When are you taking out your IUD,” Jenni said. “I think she's going to get knocked up tonight. So after your engagement we're going to get back on the stripper bus? Do you want to get married on the stripper bus?

Jenni then dropped a pile of bills on the table. The roomies were stocked as they rode a stripper bus to the restaurant as part of original Vinny's birthday party shenanigans.

Angelina did not like the line of questioning.

Jenni, Zack offer not so encouraging words

“I just felt negativity, shadiness,” said Angelina in a confessional. “I see the looks. They're whispering to each other. Zack, please bro, you were literally in pampers when you met Jenni. Give me a break, bro.”

Angelina, 36, later shared her feelings with Mike at the New Orleans club where Pauly was spinning.

“I didn't know that you saw this,' said Mike, referring to Jenni and Zack's demeanor.

“Look at his face, he (blanking) saw it too,” said Angelina, breaking the fourth wall and pointing toward the cameraman. “I see everything Mike. I'm so good at reading people.”

Angelina seems to have a highly developed reality TV spatial awareness that lets her know how producers will develop a storyline from a day's shooting.

“This should be one of the happiest days of her life,” Mike said. “Instead, Angelina is focused on someone else. This has happened before.”

The infamous testimonial speech-gone-wrong by Jenni, Nicole and Deena Cortese at Angelina's wedding to Chris Larangeira in November of 2019 caused much consternation for the speech givers. Jenni and Angelina went at it and Nicole temporarily left the show because of the fallout.

“Oh my god, here we go again,” original Vinny said. “It does not stop. The last time Jenni and Angelina got into a fight it caused a global pandemic. I want no part of this.”

The season's final episode airs 8 p.m. Thursday, May 4, on MTV.
