Angelina Jolie’s Ribbed Black Dress Is the Perfect Transitional Piece

Angelina Jolie continues to perfect the all-black wardrobe.

The Mr. & Mrs. Smith actor was spotted out in New York City yesterday in another chic monochrome look. This one was composed of a long ribbed dress with breezy frilled sleeves, and her go-to pointy suede pumps—the perfect outfit to transition from summer to fall. She accessorized with her favorite black square sunglasses and carried her quilted Saint Laurent pouch and black jacket.

As usual, Jolie added some shimmer to her ensemble with dainty gold jewelry, and kept her glam simple, opting for a light glazed doughnut manicure, glossy makeup, and a relaxed wavy hairdo.

The multi-hyphenate has been spending plenty of time in the city this summer, and for the past few days has stepped out in different all-black looks.

On Wednesday, she and son Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt were photographed out in SoHo. For the occasion, Jolie wore a silky black cami with lace detailing at the neckline, black wide-leg pants, a black collared jacket, and her black pointy suede pumps. She accessorized with a black-and-white calfskin tote bag by Celine, plus her black sunglasses and timeless diamond-and-gold jewelry.

And on Tuesday, Jolie was seen out in Manhattan with her youngest daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. For the outing, the First They Killed My Father director wore a lovely black maxi dress with ruched details and a scoop neckline. She styled the romantic piece with a sleek black blazer, glossy baby-pink pumps by Christian Louboutin, and her quilted black clutch by Saint Laurent. Jolie further accessorized with black-frame sunglasses with slightly tinted lenses, and gold-and-diamond jewelry.
