It appears that Angelina Jolie is trying to get out of the wine business she shares with ex Brad Pitt. The couple announced their split in 2019, but Angelina is now looking to sell Miraval Chateau Winery to an interested buyer.

Miraval Chateau Winery falls under Nouvel LLC and Angelina reportedly wants to see it to a third party, but she can't close the deal due to nuances in her divorce proceedings. Specifically the use of Automatic Temporary Restraining Orders (ATROs) is getting in the way. The ATROs were put into affect during Angelina and Brad's divorce proceedings and are halting her business deal.

Angelina and her legal team are asking to lift the restraining orders so she can close the deal in a timely manner while the third party is still interested. A similar request was made last month but was denied and a hearing to address the issue is being held in September, according to documents acquired by Fox News. The hearing comes as an additional attempt to remove the ATROs, after previous asks were denied without explanation from Brad's legal team.

It is being argued by Angelina's side that she acquired Nouvel LLC before her marriage to Brad and is therefore the sole owner of the business venture although Angelina and Brad now hold equal shares. The Chauteau Miraval estate and winery in southern France that the company owns is also where the the couple held their wedding in August 2014.
