Angelina Jolie Makes Going Strapless Look Easy and Elegant
The summer friendly strapless knit dress is no longer tricky to pull off in actress Angelina Jolie’s hands.
Angelina Jolie was spotted out and about yesterday in Los Angeles, enjoying a laidback Sunday lunch with her teenage son Pax. Jolie tends to err on the side of sophistication even on her casual outings, and her latest look is the perfect example. The midi-length dress has been a popular choice with stylish high profile women this summer, championed by royals such as Queen Letizia of Spain, Queen Rania of Jordan, and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. The actress took the modest idea up a notch, with a skin-revealing strapless silhouette. Indeed the fit-and-flare frock was similar to the styles worn by Hollywood starlets of the 1950s.
A complementary shawl and Jolie’s go-to bag, the Céline top-handle tote, added to the polished vibes, with classic stilettos (what else!) as the ladylike finishing touch.
