Angelina Jolie is currently promoting her all-new movie Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. And while we could easily go on and on about the Versace ensemble she wore to the Los Angeles premiere, her latest look is turning heads for all the right reasons.
Yesterday during a photo call for the highly anticipated sequel in Rome, Italy, the 44-year-old actress wore a pleated lavender top that low-key looks like she plastered a butterfly across her chest (scroll down to see how elegant it was.)
The lilac blouse features tiers of pleated fabric, creating a pattern that resembles the four wings of a butterfly. Jolie completed the look, which is straight off Givenchy’s spring/summer 2019 couture runway, with black dress pants, strappy heels and sparkly earrings.
The appearance comes just one week after Jolie attended the Los Angeles premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil at the El Capitan Theater and brought along five of her children: Pax (15), Zahara (14), Shiloh (13) and twins Vivienne and Knox (11).
While her oldest son, Maddox (18), was noticeably absent from the group, he has a legitimate excuse, since he recently started college in South Korea. He even met up with his superstar mom at the Japan premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, since it’s a much shorter plane ride.
Leave it to Jolie to prove that you don’t need to wear a floor-length gown to look regal as hell.
