Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning Look Like Actual Royalty
The co-stars low-key paid homage to their characters at the "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil" premiere in London.
At the European premiere of "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil" on Wednesday in London, Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning looked like they were plucked from the film's storybook universe. The co-stars both wore embellished looks that would suit the royalty that they portray in the film.
Fanning donned an elegant Giorgio Armani Privé seafoam green flounced organza top over a pearl- and crystal-encrusted bustier, paired with a multi-layered skirt that her character Princess Aurora would probably be giddy to wear. Her matching eyeshadow look was gorgeous in combination with dewy skin and a glossy lip. Opalescent earrings by Sutra and Stephen Webster and crystal-encrusted shoes topped off the look. Jolie's Ralph & Russo silver sequined caped gown with gold ribcage detailing would not be complete without the maleficently stunning pointed shoulder silhouette. And, of course, a bold red lip that mimics her evil queen makeup perfectly.
The gorgeous actresses didn't stop there. On Thursday in London, they attended a photocall for the film and pulled all the stops. Jolie wore a sleek black Alexander McQueen dress with lace sleeves, and for accessories, the star paid homage to her evil-spirited character with a sharp studded belt and twinning headband with spiky pumps. Fanning's all-red ensemble was strikingly well-matched — her Gucci suit and Le Silla pointed-toe pumps are as monochromatic as it gets. To top off the bold look, the young star wore a single barrette in her hair in an iconic Princess Aurora pink.
