Andrew Scott’s dapper approach to dressing for the red carpet has grown over the years — and today, we’re looking back on his fashion journey.
After his star-making turn on “Sherlock” and numerous stage productions in the 2000’s, Scott embraced formal dressing with sharp suiting, brogues and dress shoes in neutral hues of black, brown and gray. As the decades continued, the Irish actor’s style became more streamlined and colorful — particularly when dressing for the awards circuit after appearing in Amazon Prime Videos’ “Fleabag.”

Today, Scott’s ongoing tour for the film “All Of Us Strangers” has found him collaborating with stylist Warren Alfie Baker, stepping out in an array of jewel-toned, skin-baring and vintage-inspired looks by Lanvin, COS and Etro — complete with sharp shoes to match. “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” Press Night, 2013
For the press night of Theatre Royal London’s production of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” in 2013, Scott arrived in a set of shiny black leather dress shoes. The dapper footwear was paired with black pleated trousers and a white collared shirt, topped by a brown and black plaid blazer to form a sharp neutral palette.
“Hamlet” Press Night Afterparty, 2017
In 2017, Scott was seen at The Almeida Theatre’s “Hamlet” afterparty in London, wearing a pair of pointed brown leather brogues. The “Delinquent Season” star’s style brought a formal finish to a versatile set of black trousers and a gauzy white T-shirt, which Scott elevated for evening with a light beige blazer.

At the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards — where he’d go on to win the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series trophy for his role in “Fleabag” season 2 — Scott took a colorful turn in a pair of dark red leather brogues.
