Andrea Bocelli never ceases to amaze his fans.

Ahead of Andrea’s new movie The Journey: A Music Special from Andrea Bocelli premiering this past week, he gave fans a glimpse of what they could expect with a moving performance. The opera singer brought Times Square in New York City to a standstill when he belted out a soulful rendition of “Amazing Grace” on March 24. Surrounded by a sea of spectators, Andrea’s appearance also served as an early celebration of Easter, as many might remember him singing the beloved song on Easter Day in 2020 at the historic Duomo Cathedral in Milan, Italy.

What’s more, when the heartfelt moment was shared on Andrea’s Instagram, followers were reminded that his new film will only be available in theaters through Easter. "The Journey: A Music Special from Andrea Bocelli is exclusively in theaters April 2 to 9th only. Get tickets at: thejourney.movie” the post caption read.

Reacting to his rare in-person performance, fans immediately took to the comments section to share kind and supportive messages with the artist.

“Bravo! What an honor it must of been to be in that audience..moment of greatness 🥰,” one person wrote on Instagram. “Beautiful!! This man’s voice [is] just heavenly,” another added. “Incredibly MOVING!! There are tears in my eyes and chills going down my spine. THANK YOU Andrea Bocelli❣️ God bless you. 🙏🏻,” a different fan said.

From the countryside to historic sites, Andrea is joined by other singers — like Tori Kelly, Tauren Wells, and even his son Matteo Bocelli — in The Journey as he travels along the Italian road used "by pilgrims for centuries in the footsteps of the apostles and saints.”

If you’re not able to head to the theater for The Journey, there’s a good chance that the film will end up on Paramount+, based on a recent promo indicating that the Italian release landed on the streaming site. In the meantime, you can keep enjoying Andrea’s music on Instagram.
