Anderson Cooper Goes Viral After Absolutely Losing It During NYE Broadcast

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen were back at it hosting CNN's live New Year's Eve show last night, where they were joined by a special guest. Or rather, special guests: John Mayer and a bunch of cats.

The Grammy winner called into Anderson and Andy's show from a cat bar in Japan, and apparently Anderson was not expecting the unusual location and proceeded to completely lose it—dissolving into uncontrollable laughter. As Andy put it, "Just the shot of the cat's ass in your face is making him delirious."

John was also asked what we can expect in the year 2024 (he was slightly ahead due to time zones), and said "well, if it's anything like my 2024, you'll be surrounded by cats." Which, again, was simply too much for Anderson.

In other news, YES, Andy and Anderson were allowed to drink this year, which Andy established straight away by saying “Speaking of traditions, it’s the top of the hour. We’ve been here for seven years doing this, and for most of those years, well, at the top of the hour we typically have a toast. And I feel that I’m hearing from a lot of people, and I guess I’m just wondering, does daddy get his juice?”

Daddy. Got. His juice.
