The ABH Moonchild Palette might have helped start the internet-famous purple highlighter trend, but the Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow Kit is about to cement it for years to come. The latest addition to the cult-favorite palette collection was announced on Instagram yesterday. In a recent post, Claudia Soare, the president of Anastasia, referred to the new Glow Kit as Moonchild's sister. When you see the otherworldly shades inside, you'll understand why. Just like its older sis, Aurora isn't intended to lend your skin a natural-looking gold or bronze glow. But like most younger children tend to be, Aurora Glow is bolder and braver — and all about alien-like blues, purples, and pinks with astrological names. Both Glow Kits are, if our internet creeping is accurate, the exact same size with six square-shaped pans.

So what did Soare dub the sparkly shades in her latest creation? (Naming is half the fun. Or like, at least a quarter.) Let's start with the one that caught our eyes first. Orion is a vibrant sky blue that we can't wait to sweep onto our cheekbones. Ever since we tried out the sapphire shade in the Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette, we've been looking for more blue highlighters to add to our beauty routines. You can catch a peek at it in the video here.

As the for purple options, there's Spectra, which is a violet similar to Moonchild's Purple Horseshoe, and Luna, a gorgeous pale lilac. If you prefer pink, you'll want to try Eclipse (a pale pink) or Lyra (a hot peachy pink). The sixth shade we haven't mentioned yet is Helia. It's the most basic of the bunch. From the Instagram teasers, Helia appears to be a pearly white. It's sure to come in handy for layering with the more vibrant shades and illuminating the inner corners of your eyes à la halo eye makeup.

You'll be able to shop the Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow Kit on April 4th. The price hasn't been announced yet, but we're guessing it will be $40 like Moonchild.
