Ana de Armas Spotted In The Perfect Flat While Out with Ben Affleck
Some couples pose on Instagram; others master the art of the paparazzi stroll. Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas fall firmly into the latter category. Since they went public with their relationship back in March, the pair have turned their daily dog-walking into a photoshoot. Affleck tends to keep things simple in jeans and t-shirts, but de Armas never leaves home without at least one unique piece. Case in point: yesterday in Los Angeles as they stepped out with dogs Elvis and Hutch, she wore The Row’s Ava Flats. The all-black Mary-Janes elevated her tie-dye t-shirt and skinny jeans combo: An unexpected walking shoe with a minimalist vibe.
Sneakers and cozy sandals have become the default during social isolation, but Mary-Janes offer a playful alternative to standard footwear. De Armas’s look illustrates how well the versatile flats pair with casual fare, but they’re just as good dressed up. And they’re clearly one of the actress’s favorite shoes: she’s paired them with Max Mara’s classic camel hair coat and patterned maxi-dresses to great effect. We’re likely to see them again on another stroll with Affleck, and they’re sure to provide the perfect final touch to whatever she’s wearing.
